Columbia Pike Branch Library AARP Tax
New season begins January 28, 2022
The process for preparing income tax returns has changed this year because of Covid 19 and our efforts to protect the safety of taxpayers and volunteers. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
All tax returns will be prepared by appointment only. No walk-in service is provided.
The wearing of masks and adherence to social distancing is required.
Taxpayers must obtain an information packet to be completed before their appointment.
At the appointment, taxpayers will drop off their tax return documents and the completed information packet and, after a brief review (10 minutes or less), taxpayers will leave the site. Tax counselors will contact taxpayers by phone with any questions that arise.
Taxpayers will return to the site for a review of the completed tax return, sign the form 8879 that allows for e-filing of the tax return and receive their tax documents and copy of the tax return.
